Attend a FREE Affordable Care Act Webinar 
for PIA Members on Tuesday, August 12, 2014


Who: The U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) will be conducting an Affordable Care Act (ACA) webinar for PIA members that wish to participate in a Federally-facilitated Marketplace (FFM) for the 2015 plan year. Click here to find out if your state has opted for a state-based or Federally-facilitated Marketplace. If you are in a state opting for a state-based marketplace, this still may be insightful as you can learn what type of market changes will be occurring in other states.

What: An hour and a half webinar (non-CE) that will cover an array of topics, including information on the FFM registration process as well as training requirements required prior to assisting consumers in the FFM for the Individual Market and the Small Business Health Options Program (SHOP). It will be useful to agents that are both new to the FFM as well as those who are renewing their registration for the 2015 plan year.

When: Tuesday, August 12, from 3:00pm – 4:30pm ET. Put it on your calendar now!

How: Register soon as space is limited.

Detailed Registration Instructions:

  1. Visit www.regtap.info**If you already have a username and password from a previous training session, log in and skip to 4**
  2. Select "Register as a New User"
    1. If the registration system asks you to "Describe Your Affiliation" under the email line, please put "PIA Member" in the box under the red text
    2. Please select Agents and Brokers as "Organization Type"
  3. Once submitted and your registration is instantly confirmed via email, log in to www.regtap.info using your newly created email/password login
  4. Select "Training Events"
  5. Select the magnifying glass "View" icon next to "Agent Broker Participation in the Federally-facilitated Marketplace for Plan Year 2015" (Date: 07/08/2014 – 08/19/2014)
  6. In the upper right-hand corner, please enter the following PIA Member Registration Code: AB7765 and click "Submit"
  7. In the same upper right-hand corner location, now click "Register Me"
  8. Checkmark the top box and click "Submit" on the final page and you will be emailed a link to the actual webinar, which will begin on Tuesday, August 12, at 3:00pm ET


The registration will close the day before the webinar on Monday, August 11, at 1:00pm ET.
