PIA Cited as Reference in Wharton Analysis of Spitzer and Contingents

 

The prestigious Wharton School of Economics recently published an analysis of the actions of New York State Attorney General Eliot Spitzer as they relate to the practice of paying contingent commissions. The article noted that PIA has been reporting on Spitzer’s comments earlier this year that he would not advocate eliminating all contingent commissions. The article then quoted a Spitzer spokesman who seemed to partially refute what his boss said in a speech at the National Press Club on January 31.
