Zurich CEO John Lynch, General Counsel David Bowers, Brief PIA National Board

 

John Lynch, the executive vice president & CEO of Zurich, and David Bowers, United States General Counsel for Zurich, appeared before the PIA National Board of Directors on April 9, 2006. Lynch and Bowers briefed PIA Board members on issues regarding the recent announced settlement agreement involving nine state Attorneys General and one insurance commissioner relating to their industry-wide investigations into broker compensation and insurance placement practices. This also included discussion of new disclosure requirements.

The session was moderated by PIA National Secretary/Assistant Treasurer Kenneth R. Auerbach, Esq. A summary will be made available exclusively to PIA members this week.
