New FloodSmart Agent Site Launches in 2006

On January 1, 2006, the National Flood Insurance Program (NFIP) will launch a new password-protected agents-only section of FloodSmart.gov. The site will feature valuable new content and improved access to existing agent materials. To ensure that agents can access all of the materials available on the new site, NFIP is asking that users set up accounts through their convenient registration process.

The new secure site will include valuable information for agents including easy links to education and training programs, information about map modernization projects in specific areas, and marketing and advertising programs to help agents grow business, including the Agent Co-Op and Agent Referral Programs. The new site will also house information about helping clients through the claims-filing process and how to position yourself as a spokesperson after a flood.
