Lightening Sparks Hundreds of Fires in Northern California

 

Extremely dry conditions proved to be a tinderbox on Sunday, June 22 when lightening caused an outbreak of hundreds of wildfires in Northern California.

Wildfires currently threaten hundreds of homes in Northern California’s wine country and the surrounding region, although home and business owners in some parts of the relatively remote area have been allowed to return to their homes and businesses.
