NAIC's Online Fraud Reporting Database Receives Budget Approval

The NAIC has received budget approval for its online fraud reporting database. They will begin to develop the system in January with a target release date of early 2005. The database was one of the three actions that the NAIC implemented to address the broker disclosure issue resulting from the investigations of New York Attorney General Eliot Spitzer.
