The updated “Privacy Compliance Tools Kit for the Independent Insurance Agency” is now available. The kit is password protected, so members will need their username and password to access the document. PIA will soon ask state affiliates to provide state supplements that provide state-specific privacy laws and rules that deviate from the federal guidelines. A link to these documents will appear on the tools kit web page. PIA hopes that members will use this valuable membership benefit and continue to check back for future updates and additions to the kit, including a frequently asked questions section!
