Mark Your Calendars! District Lobbying Day is planned for August 17, 2010 during the annual Congressional recess. The PIA District Lobbying Day is part of PIA Month – or as we like to call it, “Capitol Hill in Your Backyard.” The August congressional recess is one of the best times to contact your Representative or Senator – when they are back home in their districts and looking for your support, and your votes! It’s a great time for you to ask for their support on PIA’s issues. Information will be sent out to each PIA affiliate office in advance of the date to help with planning. Please stay tuned!
