International Spy Museum Founder Confirmed as 2010 PIAPAC Dinner Speaker

Peter Earnest, the founding executive director of the International Spy Museum and a 35-year veteran of the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) will headline this year’s PIAPAC Dinner in Washington, DC. Mr. Earnest will share his experiences as a spy during the Cold War, as well as his thoughts on what makes a person a good spy, why some spies go bad, how spying really works, and other interesting tricks of the trade.

The dinner, scheduled for the evening of Thursday, March 18, is being held at the Capitol Hill Club, one of Washington’s most exclusive venues.  The event will feature, in addition to Mr. Earnest, an awards program, where the 2009 PIAPAC Person of the Year will be named.  It will follow a reception, also located at the Capitol Hill Club, for attendees of the 2010 PIA Federal Legislative Summit.

Harper Young, PIAPAC’s Chairman, said “This year’s dinner promises to be one of the best in PIAPAC’s history.  PIA members who attend the Spring FLS in Washington, D.C. do not want to miss out on what promises to be a wonderful evening.”

Proceeds from the dinner benefit the Professional Insurance Agents Political Action Committee, PIAPAC.
