Wrestler Hulk Hogan Files E&O Lawsuit Against His Insurance Broker

Wrestler Hulk Hogan Files E&O Lawsuit Against His Insurance Broker: Professional wrestler Hulk Hogan has filed a lawsuit against his insurance broker, Wells Fargo Southeast, alleging the company did not inform the popular entertainer of appropriate coverages, leaving Hogan underinsured when his son was involved in a 2007 accident that left a passenger seriously injured. The suit claims Wells Fargo Southeast “knew or should have known” of Hogan’s liability exposure and should have been advised him to purchase an additional excess/umbrella policy. Attempts by BestWire to reach Wells Fargo Insurance Services were not immediately successful.

Attorneys representing the crash victim filed a separate lawsuit accusing the wrestler, his estranged wife, his son and another man of negligence. Hogan settled the lawsuit out-of-court, using his own money to pay settlement costs not covered by his insurance policies.
