GE Auto Warranty Services Saves Auto Dealers Time and Eases Frustration Through Technology

The GE Auto Warranty Services B2B website revolutionizes the vehicle service contract fulfillment process.  The website eliminates the need for auto dealers to manage bulky stacks of contract forms and rate cards.  It also offers auto dealers the ability to electronically import Dealer Management Systems (DMS) information, eliminating the multiple-data entry associated with traditional contract generation.  The website enables dealers to reduce administrative costs and streamline the customer endorsement process, while ensuring contract accuracy.

Since the implementation of e-fulfillment for contract submission, contract errors dropped from 35% to 15% in 18 months.  All contracts submitted through the website have less than 1% errors.  The industry average for contract errors, submitted via paper, is 30-40%.  To complement this feature, GE AWS can establish DMS integration to streamline the overall process of filling out a Vehicle Service Contract.  Reporting features are also available through the implementation of Stone Eagle.

GE AWS' Online Claims Request continues to see more usage with over 20% of all claims processed through the website.  This innovative feature allows a repair facility to submit claims at their convenience whether the Claims Department is open or not, which allows for continued productivity.  OCR eliminates inconveniences and long hold times.
