The Insurance On-line Network (ION) is a quick, easy-to-use term quote and order entry system. With just a few key strokes, life licensed agents can obtain quotes on 10 - 15 - 20- and 30-year level term life policies with face amounts starting at $100,000 from The Hartford¹, Protective² Life and Transamerica Occidental Life³ in an easy-to-read comparative format.
Easy as 1-2-3!
Once in ION, all you need is basic client information, such as name, date of birth, gender, issue state, rate classification (nicotine or non-nicotine user) and payment mode in order to obtain a quote. All three carriers will be displayed on the screen with up to three different risk classifications. From this same page you can also access carrier information as well as product information for each carrier.
Once you and your client select a quote from a participating carrier, and you have been appointed by that carrier, you can electronically submit the request for application to that carrier. There are no medical questions asked at time of quote, this is all handled through the tele-interviewer at a time that is convenient for the client.

In order to access ION you must be life insurance licensed and in the appropriate state, and in order to complete a request for application you must be appointed with that particular carrier. By clicking on the ION link below you will have access (PIA member authentication required) to all the necessary information and paperwork for each of the carriers to obtain carrier appointments.
