Starr Indemnity & Liability Co. has received approval from the Risk Management Agency of the United States Department of Agriculture to participate as an Approved Insurance Provider in the federal multi-peril crop insurance program for 2013. Starr Indemnity is part of Starr Insurance Holdings, whose chairman and CEO is Maurice R. Greenberg, who exited American International Group (AIG) in 2005 after serving as its chairman and CEO since 1967. Starr Indemnity & Liability Company will be working with International Ag Insurance Solutions, LLC, the managing general agency for the program.
