Agents and brokers are required to complete training from the federal government before they are eligible to sell health insurance policies in a Federally-Facilitated Marketplace (FFM). Open enrollment begins on October 1 for coverage beginning on January 1. Agents and brokers can complete the training now, though they will have to complete an identity proofing process which will be available from the government later this month.
