The latest estimate of vehicles damaged as a result of Superstorm Sandy reached 230,000 as claims processed by insurers have been tallied. New York has the most vehicles impacted by the storm with 130,000, while New Jersey has counted 60,000 claims, according to the National Insurance Crime Bureau (NICB). The remaining 40,000 were reported from Connecticut, Delaware, Washington, D.C., Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, North Carolina, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, Vermont, Virginia and West Virginia.
