A credit scoring bill based on an industry model has failed to win approval in the Montana legislature. S.B. 349 was based on a model developed by the National Council of Insurance Legislators (NCOIL). Another credit scoring bill, sponsored by state insurance commissioner John Morrison that was more restrictive, died earlier in the legislative session. More
