Local advertising for “Local Agents Serving Main Street America” (SM)
PIA members and the insurance companies they represent can now participate in the PIA Branding Program.
PIA has unveiled a series of print advertisements [large PDF preview file] that PIA members can run in local publications, customized with their agency logo and contact information and (optionally) a company logo. Ads can also be printed for use as flyers or as inserts in publications. Each ad is available in a variety of sizes, in color as well as black and white.

Perpetuation Central
PIA has created Perpetuation Central as an online reference and resource center for agencies to access as they plan and take steps to implement agency perpetuation or other form of agency ownership transfer.
It offers step-by-step guidance and assistance in identifying issues to be considered, creating a plan and locating available resources.
Education
PIA is the insurance industry's leader in providing education courses to help agency employees maintain their competitive edge and licenses. PIA National has an online education program that includes CE and professional skills courses. With PIA member discounts available to everyone in your agency, this opportunity alone can easily offset the price of PIA membership.
Products & Services
PIA offers agents a variety of products and services, many available only to members and some available at no cost to members.

Advocacy
PIA represents members' interests on Capitol Hill in Washington, D.C. to ensure that lawmakers understand insurance agents' positions. PIA works with industry organizations - the National Association of Insurance Commissioners (NAIC), the National Council of Insurance Legislators (NCOIL), the Association for Cooperative Operations Research and Development (ACORD) and others - to ensure that the concerns of independent agents are addressed. PIA works with carriers in the PIA Company Council of Executive Officers (PIA-CCEO) and through our Agency Agreement Review Service to help build your business and ensure a more agent-friendly climate.
