Holly Bakke has resigned as New Jersey's banking and insurance commissioner, effective March 1.  In a letter to New Jersey Governor and PIA member Richard Codey, Bakke cited a desire to spend more time with her family and to get more involved in her community as reasons for the resignation. "Commissioner Bakke's commitment to improving insurance, banking and real estate services for New Jersey's consumers will be greatly missed," Codey said in a statement.
