Ohio Governor Bob Taft (R) announced last week he was "outraged and disappointed" by recent revelations that Ohio's Bureau of Workers' Compensation lost $215 million from an investment fund used to pay injured workers. In a written statement, Taft assured insured workers that the investment loss will not impact their insurance coverage provided through the BWC. The governor also said the state's Legislature is expected to select a committee to review the BWC's operations.
