Police in Newton, Massachusetts say the investigation into the execution-style murder of an insurance agent who worked for a PIA agency is still active, and they're making progress. On January 13, 39-year-old Edward Schiller of Framingham was found by a co-worker slumped over in his car in the garage next to the Newton insurance agency where he worked. He had been shot once in the head at point-blank range. Schiller was an employee of Aronson Insurance Agency in Newton, Massachusetts, a PIA member agency.

Investigators have released little information about the case, but are working hard behind the scenes.  Emily LaGrassa, a spokeswoman for Middlesex District Attorney Martha Coakley, said "The investigation is still very active, and we continue to make progress." LaGrassa said investigators still believe Schiller's killing was not random. Even so, investigators have not commented on possible motives. Last month, Newton Police handed out a flyer with Schiller's picture and details about the murder, asking for the public's help.
