Thomas V. Arneson, CIC, of Fergus Falls, Minnesota has been named the 2009 Person of the Year by the Professional Insurance Agents Political Action Committee (PIAPAC). The honor, in recognition of outstanding involvement on behalf of professional insurance agents, was bestowed March 18, 2010 during the annual PIAPAC fundraising dinner on Capitol Hill in Washington, D.C., held in conjunction with the 2010 PIA Federal Legislative Summit.

"It gives me great pleasure to present this prestigious award to a very deserving individual," said PIAPAC Chairman Harper Young. "His generous support of PIAPAC began 21 years ago and continues to today. In addition, his dedication to his local community is evidenced by over 30 years of service as a volunteer firefighter in his hometown of Fergus Falls, Minnesota."  Arneson is a past president of PIA National.
