Professional wrestler Hulk Hogan is suing his ex-wife, saying as his former business manager she failed to purchase umbrella insurance. Hogan, whose real name is Terry Bollea, amended his complaint, originally filed in April against Wells Fargo Insurance Services Southeast Inc. and Wells Fargo Insurance Services USA Inc., to include his ex-wife, Linda, who contended in divorce proceedings that she was responsible for much of Hogan's financial success, and, in a sworn deposition, said she had taken on the role of Hogan's business manager during their marriage.

The complaint states that Linda, through her personal assistant, "made it clear that she was not interested in personal umbrella coverage" because "she is not overly fond of insurance companies." Days later, Hogan's son, Nick, was driving a vehicle owned by Hogan that smashed into a tree, causing severe injuries to a passenger. "The claims made by Mr. Bollea and his attorney are without merit and Wells Fargo intends to vigorously defend this frivolous lawsuit," the company said earlier this year in a statement made to BestWire.
