A Lloyd's underwriter filed a complaint for declaratory relief in Los Angeles Superior Court over a $17.5 million policy covering a series of concerts at which pop singer Michael Jackson was scheduled to perform before he died. Cathedral Syndicate 2010 took the action to secure the court's assistance in reaching a determination regarding whether the claim is covered or not. A claim was filed by concert promoter AEG Live LLC soon after Jackson had died from the administration of the powerful anaesthetic Propofol.
