Sheila Brock of the Whitlock Group of Lawrenceville, Georgia has been named the 2013 PIA National Customer Service Representative of the Year. The award, sponsored by The Hartford, was presented April 12, 2013 during a gala awards luncheon in Arlington, Virginia.

“This year’s recipient exemplifies what a professional CSR means to an agency,” said PIA National Vice President/Treasurer Richie Clements. "Sheila Brock of Lawrenceville, Georgia is — in the words of agency owner Greg Whitlock — ‘the backbone of the agency.’”

Clements related how Sheila Brock went to bat when Whitlock started a new agency, helping to renew a book of business while supervising a transition from Applied Systems to AMS, developed procedures to improve efficiency and guard against E&O exposures – all the while, making sure that every client received the same level of service as they did prior to the new agency being established.
