The Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS) came out with a list of 820 US occupations and their average wages for 2013. A few of the numbers might surprise you, but here is a look at the top, bottom and a few in between: #1 – Anesthesiologists ($235,100), Chief Executives ($178,400), Sales Managers ($123,200), Pharmacists ($116,500), Actuaries ($107,700), Commercial Pilots ($80,800), Dental Hygienists ($71,500), Insurance Underwriters ($70,100), Insurance Sales Agents ($63,600), Police Officers ($58,700), Farm Labor Contractors ($42,900), Roustabouts ($36,200), Childcare Workers ($21,500), and #820, Fast Food Cooks ($18,900).
