Election Day:Vote

Today is Election Day. Every four years, citizens of the United States participate in the ultimate exercise of freedom in our democracy, by choosing who will serve as President of the United States. There are also important congressional races on the ballot, with the entire House of Representatives and many Senate races to be determined.

Voting is one of our most cherished rights. It is also a solemn responsibility. No matter for whom you vote, we encourage you to cast your ballot.

Congress has been in recess in advance of the election.  Regardless of the outcome, both the U.S. House and Senate will be back for a “lame-duck” session of Congress in November and December to complete unfinished business. During the recess, PIA National has continued to meet with congressional staff to advocate for action on PIA’s issues for when Congress returns
