To mark its 20th anniversary, the New Jersey Young Insurance Professionals' Fun Run exceeded its goal of $100,000 by raising $115,000 for Special Olympics New Jersey. Held as the "wrap-up" event of the Professional Insurance Agents of New Jersey Inc. and the Professional Insurance Agents of New York State Inc.'s Joint Annual Conference, the race took place Tuesday, June 8, 2004, at Bally's Atlantic City. "Our 20-year relationship with Special Olympics New Jersey made this year's Fun Run especially memorable," said Charles J. Caruso, CPIA, president, NJYIP. "The overwhelming response and contributions made by insurance professionals stands as testimony to the generous and caring nature of the insurance industry."
