WASHINGTON, March 31, 2004 - The National Association of Professional Insurance Agents (PIA) has elected a slate of officers who will serve one-year terms that begin on October 1, 2004 and run through September 30, 2005.

Ray Peretti of Renton, Washington was elected President-elect; Donna Pile of Lexington, Kentucky was elected Vice President; and Robert Page of Houma, Louisiana was elected Secretary/Treasurer.  Peretti is currently serving a term as vice president, Pile is the association's current secretary/treasurer and Page is chairman of the PIA National Federal Affairs Committee.

Also on October 1, 2004, current PIA President-elect Terry Adams of Ashland, Oregon will become President and current PIA President Carl G. Stoecklin of Cincinnati, Ohio will become Immediate Past President.

All officers will be officially installed in their new positions during the fall PIA Board meeting in Orlando, Florida on September 12, 2004. The officer elections were held March 28 in Arlington, Virginia.

Founded in 1931, PIA is a national trade association that represents member insurance agents and their employees who sell and service all kinds of insurance, but specialize in coverage of automobiles, homes and businesses.
