Bill Jenkins has joined the staff of PIA National as Vice President of Business Development and Marketing. Jenkins was most recently Executive Director of ASCnet, the Applied Systems Client Network, a position he resigned on December 31, 2004 to accept the position with PIA National. ASCnet represents over 110,000 insurance agents and brokers who are users of Applied Systems Software. From 1985-1993, Jenkins was director of advertising and a Vice President of the Independent Insurance Agents and Brokers of America (IIABA), where he also helped create the Agents Council for Technology (ACT). Jenkins served two years as director of ACT.

"When your goal is to reach the top, you need to recruit the top people to help you get there," said PIA National executive vice president and CEO Len Brevik. "Bill Jenkins is tops in what he does, and I am particularly pleased he has decided to join the national staff of PIA."

Jenkins said he is looking forward to helping PIA members grow their agencies.

"I'm extremely pleased to be a part of the fastest growing agents association in America," said Jenkins. "And I look forward to developing new opportunities, products, services and insurance markets for PIA members." You can reach Bill at billje@pianet.org.
