Georgia's Insurance Commissioner, John Oxendine, was the keynote speaker at the ninth annual PIA of Georgia Education Expo, September 27 in Atlanta.

Commissioner Oxendine stressed the importance of professional education and how he had seen the Education Expo grow dramatically since its inception nine years ago. "Not only have the crowds gotten bigger, the number of agents coming from the same firm was a clear indication that quality education was the key to success," noted Oxendine. "Programs like CIC, CISR, and those offered by PIA of Georgia are examples of the quality of education programs available to our agents and companies."

"Both the Atlanta and Macon Education Expos were tremendously successful." said Jerry Duke, executive director for PIA of Georgia. "A combined total over 600 students will have taken part in this year's event."
