Bonnie L. Garza, CIC, CRM, was named the 2005 PIA National Customer Service Representative of the Year on April 9, 2005 during an awards luncheon in Arlington, Virginia. The PIA National CSR of the Year Award was sponsored for the third consecutive year by Zurich Small Business, a carrier partner in the PIA Company Council of Executive Officers (PIA-CCEO).

Garza was honored for her outstanding professionalism as a customer service representative who works for a PIA member agency, Steig & Associates Insurance Inc. of Billings, Montana.

"Bonnie Garza is a consummate professional who epitomizes the attributes of an outstanding customer service representative," said PIA National President-elect Ray Peretti. "Her dedication to customer satisfaction, professionalism and community service have combined to win her the praise and respect of those she works with."  The PIA National CSR of the Year Award is presented annually to honor the professionalism and unique contributions of an outstanding Customer Service Representative (CSR) who works for a PIA member agency.
