The New Jersey Young Insurance Professionals now offers full-time college students a discounted membership to its organization, which is dedicated to building tomorrow's insurance leaders today. The student membership category was created as part of NJYIP's continuing efforts to reach out and educate the next generation of insurance professionals.  For $20, student members can attend most of the association's meetings; take part in annual events at a discounted price; have access to professional development, career focus and education opportunities; receive all the YIP publications and more.

"This is a perfect opportunity for young people who are interested in becoming independent insurance agents to get their feet wet and see everything the insurance industry has to offer as a career choice," said Patti Smith, CIC, CPIW, president of NJYIP. "Student members can use their membership to learn about the industry and have access to a network of committed NJYIP members, who will use their experiences to offer guidance and mentorship."
