Private Duty Nursing Service may help give you the peace of mind you are looking for during a difficult time. Even in the best hospitals, patients and their families are turning to private nursing help to supplement care from staffs that are often short-handed and overworked. On a general medical floor, there may be only one nurse for every four to eight patients. Private duty nurses may be recommended for patients who are just coming out of the intensive care unit, or patients who need extra attention during their stay at the hospital.

This added level of care can add dollars to your hospital bill, and it may not be covered by insurance. But with the PIA Services' Catastrophe Major Medical Insurance Plan, you can collect up to $120 per 8-hour shift ($360 maximum per day, $35,000 lifetime maximum benefit per insured), once your deductible has been satisfied for charges made for private duty nursing due to non-job related injuries or sicknesses.

This plan is Underwritten by:
The United States Life Insurance Company in the City of New York
New York, New York
A member company of American International Group, Inc.
