PIA of Virginia & D.C. Board Member Kirk Fedder, CISR, CPSR, cycled with nearly 8,500 others November 22 in Tucson, Arizona, to support the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society. Training and riding in memory of the late 1977 PIA of Virginia & D.C. President Jim Towe, CIC, Kirk completed the 109-mile course, which included two river crossings (this means carrying your bike a mile in deep water) in about 10 hours. He raised more than $9,000 for leukemia research. Congrats to Kirk for conquering "El Tour De Tucson."
