PIA Branding Program Wins Another Award

We've just been informed that PIA has received a 2010 Gold Award in the Ava Awards international competition, as judged by the Association of Marketing and Communication Professionals (ACMP). The award recognizes our Spanish radio advertisements, part of the PIA Branding Program. The Spanish language commercials were produced with the assistance of an ad-hoc working group of Spanish-speaking PIA member agents appointed by the PIA National Image Committee.

In 2008, the PIA Branding Program received a prestigious MarCom Gold Award (also from the Association of Marketing and Communication Professionals) for its English radio advertisements. In 2007, the PIA Branding Program received two MarCom Awards, a Platinum Award in the Corporate Branding category and a Gold Award in the Advertising Campaign category. The PIA Branding Program was also named a Gold Award recipient of the Hermes Creative Awards 2007 competition and was the recipient of an APEX Award for Publication Excellence.

In May 2010, PIA National was named the recipient of four prestigious awards in the Hermes Creative Awards 2010 competition. PIA's principal communications vehicle PIA Connection received two Platinum Awards, one for overall excellence and one for an article entitled Women in Insurance - An Agent's Story, written by past PIA National President Donna L. Pile. The PIA web microsite Reaching Gen Y received the Hermes Gold Award, presented to those entries judged to exceed the high standards of the industry norm. Reaching Gen Y is a project of The PIA Partnership. In addition, PIA's Roadmap to State Regulatory Modernization received an Honorable Mention for graphic design and illustration.
