Amy Diggett of the Byrnes Agency in Dayville, Connecticut, was named the 2014 PIA National Customer Service Representative (CSR) of the Year. The PIA CSR of the Year award is sponsored by The Hartford, as a way of bringing more recognition to the importance of agency CSRs.

“This year’s winner exemplifies what a professional CSR means to an agency,” said PIA National Vice President/Treasurer Rob Hansen. “Amy Diggett has that special quality of being able to make a connection with each personal interaction. She is excellent at creating rapport, and people can sense her honesty and sincerity. Amy has a long background in insurance, and she’s able to communicate with customers in terms they easily can comprehend. This is a skill that cannot be taught.”
