Lisa Murman of MSA Group Chosen Vice Chairman

WASHINGTON, December 18, 2002 - Scott Kuczmarski of MetLife Auto and Home has been elected to the chairmanship of the National Association of Professional Insurance Agents Company Council of Executive Officers (PIA-CCEO). Lisa Murman, Director of Marketplace Planning and Development for Main Street America Group was elected vice chairman.

"Scott Kuczmarski and Lisa Murman are steadfast advocates for independent insurance agents," said PIA National Preisdent Carl G. Stoecklin. "They are dedicated to advancing the agency system as the preferred method for distribution of insurance products. We congratulate them on their new positions of leadership with the PIA-CCEO."

Kuczmarski is Vice President of Independent Agent Sales and Marketing for MetLife Auto and Home, where he is responsible for the growth and profit results of the Independent Agent Organization through the strategic management of a region covering half the United States and approximately 700 million dollars in premium.

Murman is Director of Marketplace Planning and Development for the Main Street America Group. Previously Lisa was employed by Bankers Insurance Group in St. Petersburg, Florida where, as Vice President of Bankers Underwriter Inc., she was responsible for leading the sales and marketing efforts with the independent agency system.

Comprised of senior insurance company executives, the PIA-CCEO identifies areas of opportunity in the agency-company partnership, facilitates dialogue between company executives and PIA leaders and conducts solution-oriented research designed to enable both to profit from these opportunities. The most recent PIA-CCEO project is The Value Difference: Transforming Agency Culture.
