Dyson Massengill, CIC, was named the 2005 PIA
National Company Representative of the Year
in Portland, Oregon on September 10, 2005.
Dyson is the Senior Territory Manager, Middle
Tennessee, for Grange Insurance Companies.

Portland, Ore., September 10, 2005  -   The National Association of Professional Insurance Agents (PIA) has named Dyson Massengill, CIC, its 2005 PIA National Company Representative of the Year. The award was presented September 10, 2005 during a ceremony in Portland, Oregon in conjunction with a national PIA board of directors meeting.
 
Massengill is Senior Territory Manager for middle Tennessee for Grange Insurance Companies. The annual PIA National Company Representative of the Year Award honors one outstanding company representative for outstanding service to professional insurance agents, the insurance industry and their community.
 
"Company representatives provide a vital link between independent insurance agencies and the carriers they represent," said PIA National President-elect Ray Peretti, who presented the award. "Dyson Massengill is dedicated to helping the agencies he serves. He consistently wins high praise from the agencies he serves for working in partnership with them to develop, implement and monitor action plans designed to increase profitability."
 
Massengill been an active associate member of PIA of Tennessee since 1994, when he transferred there from Ohio. Prior to that, he was an active associate member of PIA of Ohio. He was named PIA of Ohio Field Representative of the Year twice, and most recently was the recipient of the PIA of Tennessee Company Representative of the Year Award.

Founded in 1931, PIA is a national trade association that represents member insurance agents and their employees who sell and service all kinds of insurance, but specialize in coverage of automobiles, homes and businesses. PIA will celebrate its 75th anniversary in 2006.
