WASHINGTON, Wednesday, August 4, 2010  - The National Association of Professional Insurance Agents (PIA) has unveiled a series of Spanish print advertisements as the latest phase in its award-winning PIA Branding Program, Local Agents Serving Main Street AmericaSM.

The new Spanish print ads are available to PIA members free of charge, as part of their association membership, to run in their local markets. With the addition of the new Spanish print ads to PIA's Main Street branding campaign, PIA members now have access to a complete line of print and radio ads in both English and Spanish.

"PIA members are increasingly marketing to Hispanic insurance consumers, who make up a growing share of the insurance buying public," said PIA National President Jon D. Spalding. "The combination of Spanish print advertising and Spanish language radio advertisements provides our members with a powerful additional marketing resource."

"From the moment we rolled out the PIA Branding Program in 2006, it was important to us that every PIA member be able to benefit from it," Spalding said. "That's why there is no additional charge for PIA members to participate."

Each of PIA's print and radio ads has been translated and voiced in a manner so that they can be used broadly across the United States and Puerto Rico. The new Spanish print ads can be used to promote an agency generally, or they can be used to specifically support auto, home or commercial insurance sales. Each ad includes space for a PIA member agency's name, logo and contact information, and optionally, the logo of a company they represent.

In 2008, the PIA Branding Program received a prestigious MarCom Gold Award from the Association of Marketing and Communication Professionals (AMCP) for its English radio advertisements. In 2007, the PIA Branding Program received two MarCom Awards, a Platinum Award in the Corporate Branding category and a Gold Award in the Advertising Campaign category. The PIA Branding Program was also named a Gold Award recipient of the Hermes Creative Awards 2007 competition and was the recipient of an APEX Award for Publication Excellence.

"PIA actively supports our members' business growth in the Latino community," said PIA National Executive Vice President & CEO Len Brevik.
