Dan Weber Named PIAPAC Person of the Year

WASHINGTON — Dan Weber, CIC, AFIS, of Casselton, North Dakota has been named the 2011 Person of the Year by the Professional Insurance Agents Political Action Committee (PIAPAC)

Dan Weber was honored as the 2011 PIAPAC Person of the Year.  WASHINGTON, April 10, 2012 — Dan Weber, CIC, AFIS, of Casselton, North Dakota has been named the 2011 Person of the Year by the Professional Insurance Agents Political Action Committee (PIAPAC).

The honor, in recognition of outstanding involvement on behalf of professional insurance agents, was bestowed March 22, 2012 during the annual PIAPAC fundraising dinner on Capitol Hill in Washington, D.C., held in conjunction with the 2012 PIA Federal Legislative Summit.

“Every year the PIAPAC nominating committee has the tough decision of choosing one person who stands out above the rest in dedication on behalf of PIAPAC,” said PIAPAC Chairman Robert C. Shanley, CIC. “As chairman of PIAPAC and a past recipient of this award, it gives me great pleasure to present this honor a very deserving individual. Dan Weber is very active in PIA, both on the state and national level. His dedication to advancing the interests of professional insurance agents is exemplary and he has always been a key ‘go-to’ person for PIAPAC.”

Founded in 1931, PIA is a national trade association that represents member insurance agents and their employees who sell and service all kinds of insurance, but specialize in coverage of automobiles, homes and businesses.
