Columbus, Ohio-based Motorists Mutual Insurance Company recently announced that it is offering a new program to help its more than 4,000 independent agents plan for success. The company is providing its agents access to the National Association of Professional Insurance Agents' Web-based "Practical Guide to Successful Planning."

Motorists is distributing a CD-ROM that introduces agents to the guide and illustrates how it can be an effective business-planning tool to boost their success. The PIA developed this tool through its work with The Partnership, a select group of national and regional insurance companies, which includes Motorists.

"Independent agents understand the value of creating a solid plan, and it does not have to be a complex process. This guide can create a meaningful plan that is right for their individual agency," says Grady Campbell, vice president of Property and Casualty Marketing for Motorists. "We're proud to partner with the PIA to develop this tool that will give our independent agents a competitive advantage."

PIA Members: Your PIA membership includes access to the deliverables of The Partnership. Learn more about PIA's Practical Guide to Successful Planning.
