FEMA Revises Guidance for Flood Policies Affected by Two-Day Lapse

The Federal Emergency Management Agency revised its guidance for insurance policies affected by the two-day lapse in the National Flood Insurance Program as a result of the delay in the Senate’s approval of the program's reauthorization bill. The changes allow policyholders whose coverage was renewed on Monday March 1 and Tuesday March 2 to carry those dates in their policies.
